Tribe AI

Generate an image from a prompt with Tribe AIOpen Tribe AI from the canvas toolbar, describe the image, pick a style, model and aspect ratio, and click Generate. Results land in the tray; click one to place it.Overview AI modelsThe Model menu in Tribe AI offers seven image models, from 8-credit rough drafts to 90-credit hero frames. Pick by what the shot needs; the credits per image are shown in the menu.Concept AI styles: built-in, custom and savedA style sets the rendering look of everything Tribe AI generates. Generate at the canvas ratio for backdrops.Concept Create your own AI styleClick Create style in the Choose AI style dialog, name it, and add images that show the look. Saving a style costs nothing. Generating with it spends credits, the same as any other generation.Task Generate with No backgroundTurn on the No background switch in the Tribe AI panel and the generation comes back as a cutout PNG with a transparent background, ready to sit over any scene. It adds a surcharge on top of the model's price.Task Generate with reference imagesAttach up to 10 images with Reference image, then name each one in the prompt as @Image 1, @Image 2 so the model knows what to take from where. Every generation spends credits.Task Send a canvas item to Tribe AISelect anything on the canvas and choose Send to Tribe AI from its bar. It becomes a reference image in the panel, so you can restyle a library character, redraw a sketch, or generate a scene around a prop.Task The generation trayGenerations don't land on the canvas by themselves. They collect in a tray at the bottom of the Canvas, up to five running at once, and you place the ones you want.Concept Why a generation takes a whileTribe AI sends your prompt to an AI model and waits for the picture; that wait is the model's, not the app's. The tray shows a running timer, you can queue up to five at once, and you can keep working while they run.Concept Your AI historyHistory in the Tribe AI panel (and the AI history page) keeps every image you've generated with its prompt, model, ratio and credits. Insert one into a project, reuse its prompt, or download it.Task

Editing images

Magic EditMagic Edit changes an image in place: retouch a detail, erase something, change the angle or lighting, adjust tone. Select an image, open Edit or Magic edit in its bar, describe or paint the change, and click Generate.Overview Generative expandExpand extends an image beyond its edges, painting in what the AI thinks continues there. Choose Freeform, Original or Fill scene, or a ratio, then Generate.Task Image editing on mobileOn a phone you can generate with Tribe AI, crop, flip, adjust tone and send an item to Tribe AI. Magic Edit's AI tools (Remove BG, Expand, Retouch, Split into layers) are desktop and tablet only.Concept Remove backgroundSelect an image and choose Remove BG from its Edit menu. The subject is cut out in place as a transparent PNG, ready to sit on any backdrop. It uses credits.Task Retouch, erase and relightRetouch changes a detail from a description, Magic erase removes what you paint over, and Lighting relights the whole image. All three are Magic Edit tabs on desktop and tablet.Task Split into layersSplit into layers separates a flat image into its parts (a person, the furniture, the background) as individual objects you can move and restack.Task Transparent backgroundsTwo ways to a cut-out: turn on No background when you generate, or Remove BG on an image you already have. AI in your script

The AI answered in the wrong languageWrite script with AI and the project kick starter reply in the language of your own idea text. Type the idea in the language you want back and the script follows; there is no language switch to set.Troubleshooting

Credits

Understanding AI creditsAI credits pay for image generation and AI image editing. Every plan includes a monthly allowance that resets on your billing date; paid plans can add top-up packs. The credits button in the editor header shows your balance.Overview Buying top-up creditsOn a paid plan, click the credits button in the editor header or Top up in Settings › Billing, choose how many packs, and pay. Top-ups don't expire while your paid plan is active. Free plans upgrade first.Task

AI image request failedA red message after Generate means the request didn't produce an image. The wording tells you which kind: capacity, content moderation, or an unknown error.
