In what order are credits used?

Monthly credits are used first. Once they're gone, any top-up credits in the same balance are used next.
Which balance pays depends on where the project lives, not on who is working:
- Personal project: your own credits, even if you belong to a workspace.
- Workspace project: the workspace's pooled credits, even if you have personal credits left.
The two balances never mix: a workspace project won't fall back to your personal credits when the pool runs out, and personal credits can't be moved into a workspace. Moving a project into a workspace switches it to the pool from then on.
