Can I use it to animate?

Yes. The Video editor turns your storyboard into an animatic: each shot plays for a set time, with transitions, music and voice-over, and you can download it as an MP4 or share it with a link.

Open the Video view in your project. Every shot becomes a clip in storyboard order. Set how long each shot plays, choose a transition at each cut (Fade, Slide, Zoom or none), add up to three music tracks, and add narration with AI voice-overs: type what should be said and the voice is generated for you.

When it's ready, download the video as an MP4 (720p with a watermark on the free plan, 1080p without one on paid plans) or share it with a link.

What StoryTribe doesn't do is animate the drawing inside a shot: characters don't move within the frame. An animatic moves from shot to shot, which is what most previsualization needs.
