Organising assets

Favourites and folders let you keep frequently used characters, props, templates, and image files easy to access while working on your storyboard.

UI of adding to favourites

Add to favourites

Favourites let you pin individual character components you use often, so they’re always one click away. They’re ideal for saving components from your go-to characters, such as hairstyles or outfits, that you reuse across scenes or projects.

Adding character assets to favourites

  1. Open a character’s contextual menu (blue bar menu)
  2. Click Character settings to open the edit panel
  3. Hover over any asset in the list
  4. Click the heart icon to add to favourites
  5. Once favourited, the asset is pinned to the top of the menu.

Save to folders

Folders help you group related assets together. You can organise items by project, client, scene type, or any structure that fits your workflow, making it easier to find and reuse assets as your library grows.

How to save an asset to a folder

  1. Click on one or more props or characters you’ve created.
  2. Select Save to folder from the blue contextual menu.
  3. Enter a name and choose an existing folder, or create a new one.
  4. Click Save to add the asset to the folder.

Accessing and managing folders

Saved assets can be accessed from the folders under Saved Items in the left menu.
In Saved Items, you can manage your folders by:

  • Creating new folders
  • Renaming existing folders
  • Deleting folders you no longer need
