Transitions

Click the small button between two shots to choose None, Fade, Slide or Zoom and set its length (0.1 to 3 seconds). To set a default for every cut, use Video settings.

1. In the Video view, click the small button between two shots (Transition: None. Click to change.).
2. Pick None (a straight cut), Fade, Slide or Zoom; each shows a little preview. For anything but None, a Duration row appears (default 0.5 s, from 0.1 to 3).
3. To set every cut at once, open Video settings › Default transition and click Apply to all. Individual chips can still differ afterwards.
