AI voice-overs
In the Timeline, click the voice-over row, choose lines from your script or write your own, pick a voice, and click Generate. The narration lands as a clip you can move, trim, split or regenerate with a different voice.

- In the Timeline, click the microphone button (
Add voice-over at playhead) at the start of the voice-over row. The narration starts where the playhead is. To start at the beginning instead, click the empty voice-over row. TheAdd voice-overdialog opens on theAI voicetab, withRecordandUploadtabs next to it. For those, see Record or upload a voice-over. - Choose
From script. UnderChoose what to speak, tick the lines you want spoken. Dialogue and action are already ticked. Captions and songs start unticked. Notes are never spoken. Or chooseWrite your ownand type it. Pick a different shot from the list beside the script to voice that one instead. - Pick a
Voice: search, filter byLanguage,Accent,Gender,AgeandUse case, preview a line, and star the ones you like. - Click
Generate. The narration lands as a clip on the lane: drag it to move, drag its ends to trim, and click it forVolumeand renaming. Its menu holdsEdit voice-over(change the lines or the voice and generate again),Split at playhead,DuplicateandDelete.
