Where to open it

  • In the editor: click the project title in the header and choose Project settings. (Double-clicking the title renames it in place instead.)
  • On the Projects page or Home: open a project card's menu and choose Project settings.
  • On a phone: the view dropdown under the header has Project settings at the bottom.

What's in it

  • Project details. Project Title (up to 80 characters), Canvas dimensions (a preset or a custom width and height), and Project info, free-text notes that print at the top of the script.
  • Script details. Click Add script details to show these fields: script title, author(s), contact, draft date and version. They appear only on exported title pages (PDF, Final Draft and Fountain).
  • Scene numbering. Automatic (1, 2, 3 by order) or Manual (numbers you set, like 46A, that stay put).

Changes apply when you click Save changes. Who can open the project is not here; that's the Share dialog.
