Tribe AI just got a wardrobe of new looks. On top of the styles you already know, you can now generate in Anime, Manga, Comic Book, Cyberpunk, Clay Stop-Motion, Needle Felt, Miniature, Isometric, Concept Art, Soft Watercolour, Lo-Fi, Scrapbook, and more. Pick one from the style menu and every image you generate takes on that look.
Your video's voice-overs are no longer AI-only. In the voice-over track you can now record one straight from your mic, with a level meter and a review step before you keep it, or upload an audio file of your own. It lands on the timeline next to your AI voice-overs and music, ready to trim and adjust.
The video editor got a real editing upgrade. You can undo and redo your changes, scrub and drag the playhead along the timeline, split a clip at the playhead, and trim a clip straight from handles on its edges. Right-click any clip to duplicate, rename, or delete it, and there's a full set of keyboard shortcuts too, from Space to play to arrow keys for stepping through your video.
Starting a project is completely reimagined. On the new create screen, describe your idea, a scene, a logline, or paste a full script, and StoryTribe writes the screenplay, breaks it into scenes and shots, and builds a draft storyboard for you. It even assembles a Story Bible: a synopsis plus the cast, locations, and props it found, saved as reusable Elements with their own covers. From there you refine the breakdown, choose your look and aspect ratio, and generate your opening frames.
Building out your Elements just got easier. In the element editor, the Add button now gives you three ways to add an image: Upload your own, Generate one with AI, or pull one From AI history. Generation runs in the background so you can keep working, and you can browse an element's images in a lightbox with arrows.
The Book publish format now lets you choose a cover. When you publish, pick Photo (your story's first shot), Solid color, or Aura, one of five soft generated gradients, and your book gets a cover that suits the story. Books now open words-first too, with each shot's script before its picture.
Every shot can now become an image from the words you wrote. Write a shot's script, then hit Generate right on the tile, or in the canvas script panel, and StoryTribe draws that shot for you. Regenerate swaps the frame instead of stacking copies, and your frames follow the story, each one taking cues from the shot before it so a sequence stays consistent. You can also generate a run of shots in one go.
Your Storyboard now shows real scene headers you can collapse and manage, the Story Bible is reachable from the view menu, and the Script view shows the full scene structure with rename, merge, reorder, and more. You can also Flatten objects right from the object sheet.
Anyone viewing your published storyboard can now open a shot in a focused reader: the image and its script, full screen, with arrows to move through the story shot by shot. On desktop and mobile.
There's a new way to share your story: publish it as a Book. Your shots and script become a two-page reading book that turns page by page, the image on one side and its script on the other, cover and all. Pick Book alongside Storyboard and Video when you publish, and set it public or unlisted. Your book reads beautifully on desktop and mobile.
Your workspace gets its own shared Elements library alongside your personal one. Save a character, location, prop, or style into it, or move an existing element across, and everyone can drop it into their projects and @mention it. Switch between your Personal and workspace libraries from a dropdown wherever Elements appear. On desktop and tablet.
