FAQ

What file formats are supported for exporting my storyboard?

Last updated Aug 29, 2026

You can export a storyboard as pages, as images, as a script, as a shot list or as a video. All of them are under Download in the project's Share dialog, except video, which you download from the Video view.

  • Storyboard pages: One shot per page, Storyboard 3 per page, or Grid overview (3 or 6 per page), as PDF or PPTX.
  • Images only: one file per shot as PNG, JPG or PDF, at 1x to 5x resolution (1x and 2x on the free plan, 3x to 5x on paid plans).
  • Screenplay: the script on its own as Fountain, Final Draft (.fdx), PDF, docx or txt.
  • Shot list / Table: one row per shot with your fields as columns, as CSV, XLSX or PDF.
  • Video: your animatic as an MP4.

Exports on the free plan carry a StoryTribe watermark; paid plans export clean.
