  1. Click + Create on Home, or Create in the sidebar. On a phone, tap Create in the bottom bar. You can also click the dashed Create project card on the Projects page.
  2. The Create page opens on the AI start. Click I'll create manually from blank canvas at the bottom.
  3. If you belong to a workspace, choose where the project lives with Create in: Personal or a workspace. If you started from a workspace's page, that workspace is already picked.

Choosing project dimensions

  1. Pick a size. Storyboard sizes are 16:9, 4:3, 1:1, 3:4 and 9:16. Social media sizes match Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube thumbnails and Pinterest. For your own size, click Custom Size (paid plans), set a width and height from 200 to 6000 px, and click Create a storyboard.
  2. The project is created as soon as you pick a size. It opens on the Canvas, named Untitled, with one empty shot. Rename the project from the editor header or in Project settings.

Troubleshooting

  • "Unable to create storyboard. Please try again." Check your connection and click the size again.
  • No Custom Size card on your phone. Custom sizes are available on desktop and tablet for paid plans. Phones show the presets only.
