Wow, what a ride this has been. When Yunmie Kim and I started StoryTribe, we were mainly focused on solving some of our own frustrations with existing UX tools.
Fast forward to today, and I can hardly believe who's showing up in our user logs. Big names, established brands, folks who are at the top of the UX game. It's humbling and nerve-wracking at the same time.
To say that the feedback has been good would be an understatement. People are finding it easy to use and are creating storyboards that I couldn't have even dreamed of.
One user told us, "Within just a few minutes, I got it." And another is so excited they're already sharing it far and wide, saying, "I've started showing this to everyone I can."
Then there's our Discord community, a thriving space where the real magic is happening. It's not just about bug reports and feature requests; it's about sharing knowledge, learning from each other, and building something that's genuinely shaped by the people who use it. The sense of camaraderie there? It's real, and it's invaluable.
I often catch myself wondering how Yunmie and I even got here. She's in Australia, handling design and UI. I'm here in the UK, focusing on the technical side.
While I'm up in the early morning hours in the UK, Yunmie's wrapping up her late night in Australia. Together, we've unintentionally created a 24-hour cycle for StoryTribe, powered by relentless caffeine consumption and, I'll admit, a bit of an addiction to monitoring our user engagement.
I guess what I'm trying to say is, StoryTribe is turning into something special. It's more than just a tool; it's a community.
It's a space where people who are serious about UX are coming together to push the envelope, not just in what a storyboarding tool can do, but in how we think about UX design as a whole.
If you're curious, now is a great time to join in. With feedback driving our updates and a community that's collectively smarter than any one of us, you're not just adopting a tool; you're joining a movement.
Let's see where this journey takes us.
